Framingham Crime Maps (over time) |
---|
In December 2010, I started noticing that Framingham police cruisers
were switching their logos from:
![]() to
![]() What the hell does that mean? Shouldn't pride be based on one's accomplishments. What was accomplished here? This rebranding was certainly accelerated after Eurie Stamps, Sr. death. The apparent reason to discard the concept of Excellence in Public Safety can be shown by crime maps over time. Our police department subscribes to http://www.crimemapping.com. This allows you to see how they perform crime fighting. Crime in downtown Framingham is centered around the police station. The criminals are not the least bit intimidated by our fierce crime fighters. Can it be said that the Framingham police are effective at their primary function? We, the taxpayers, pay $12 million a year for this non-performance. Meanwhile, our intrepid crime fighters are parked at Dunkin Donuts. |
